libgc1c2 software package provides conservative garbage collector for C and C++, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgc1c2
libgc1c2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgc1c2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgc1c2 *
You will get with libgc1c2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
